Beyonce Strikes Glamorous Pose In September Issue Of Vogue: The Reign of Beyoncé.

There’s only one September issue, and there’s only one Beyoncé

“The word diva is used for so many female performers, and it often means they have reputations for being difficult, but she exudes charm and a lovable quality.” —Marc Jacobs

In an age when roles and styles morph as quickly as computer images, she’s a shape-shifting virtuoso. She can evoke Rita Hayworth or Naomi Campbell, flappers and B-girls.

Her appropriation and assemblage are based on the understanding that a mass audience is a mass of niche audiences. Each has its own history, with its own desires, and she empowers them all.

  1. Beyonce is one of the most beautiful woman to walk this earth. No amount of caked makeup on and bad skin pictures circulating in the uk, about beyonce can change my mind. I’ve seen her candid pictures without makeup and the lady is still good looking. So all you jealous evil and manipulative haters can stfu.

  2. She’s definately in a league of her own. Growing up and watching her a singer and now she’s a business woman. I aspire to be like her one day.
