According to what is discovered in their ancestral tree, Harry and Meghan are distant cousins, sharing a 15th century ancestor of the Queen Mum.The link in family trees comes from Prince Charles’ side in Harry’s family and can be traced through to the royalist Bowes family of England.
Meghan shares the relation through her dad’s side, Thomas Markle, who gave the royal relationship his seal of approval.
Their shared ancestor is Ralph Bowes, 15 generations ago, who was High Sheriff of Couty Durham and owned Streatham Castle.
