Constable collapses at his home and dies

The St Elizabeth police fraternity and the community are mourning at the loss of 44-year-old police constable Rayon Dunkley, who collapsed while getting ready for work at his home at Windsor, just outside Siloah, Monday.
Dunkley, a father of nine children, was said to have had chronic health issues related to his heart and kidneys.
“We are mourning the loss of a good man. The entire division and in particular his colleagues at the Maggotty Police Station have been hit hard,” head of the St Elizabeth police Superintendent Lanford Salmon told OBSERVER ONLINE.
Grieving relatives told OBSERVER ONLINE by telephone that Dunkley’s death was a shattering blow.
“My heart beat gone,” the constable’s father Valentine Dunkley said.
